$\frac{1}{\tan x + cot 2x}=\frac{\sqrt{2}(\cos x - \sin x)}{\cot x-1}$
$\frac{1}{tanx +cot2x}=\frac{1}{tanx+\frac{1-tan^{2}x}{2tanx}}=\frac{2tanx}{tan^{2}+1}=2sinx.cos$
$\frac{\sqrt{2}(\cos x - \sin x)}{\cot x-1}=\sqrt{2}sinx$
$\Leftrightarrow cosx.2sinx=\sqrt{2}.sinx$
$\Leftrightarrow sinx(\sqrt{2}cosx-1)=0$
$\Leftrightarrow \begin{bmatrix} sinx=0 & \\ cosx=\frac{\sqrt{2}}{2} & \end{bmatrix}$
$\Leftrightarrow \begin{bmatrix} x=k2\pi & & & \\ x=\pi -k2\pi & & & \\ x=\frac{\pi }{4}+k2\pi & & & \\ x=-\frac{\pi }{4}+k2\pi & & & \end{bmatrix}$
