Mô hình diễn đàn hiện đã cũ và có nhiều bất cập, vì vậy ban quản trị đã và đang xây dựng một diễn đàn toán học mang trong mình những hương vị mới. Nền tảng được chọn là mô hình mạng xã hội (Điển hình là facebook.com).

Phiên bản mới sẽ giữ nguyên cách gõ công thức như cũ và bổ sung thêm rất nhiều tính năng mới như:

1. Quản lý các video: Bạn có thể gửi các video lên và mọi người sẽ bình luận trong từng video đó.

2. Đăng nhập bằng tài khoản facebook: Bạn sẽ không cần đăng ký tài khoản mới nếu bạn đã có tài khoản facebook. Hãy dùng tài khoản facebook để đăng nhập luôn nhé.

3. Viết Blog, tin tức: Tin tức bây giờ sẽ do các bạn viết là chính, blog các bạn viết về mọi chủ đề và chúng tôi sẽ lọc ra những tin tức về toán từ phía các bạn để đưa ra trang chủ cho mọi người cùng xem và thảo luận.

4. Trang cá nhân: Trang cá nhân sẽ nhiều thông tin hơn và hấp dẫn hơn.

5. Thông tin cá nhân: Các bạn có thể nhập thông tin cá nhân chi tiết hơn và tìm những người có cùng thông tin giống như bạn. Ví dụ cùng sinh năm 1990...

6. Ảnh avatar: Avatar của bạn sẽ xuất hiện nhiều hơn trong trang web

7. Quyền truy cập: Bạn có thể để chế độ riêng tư, hoặc dành cho bạn bè, hoặc cho phép mọi người cùng xem trang cá nhân của bạn

8. Quản lý bạn bè: Dễ dàng và thuận tiện trong việc quản lý bạn bè của mình

9. Kết bạn: Khi kết bạn, sẽ có rất nhiều tiện ích mở ra, ví dụ chat như facebook

10. Mời bạn bè: Bạn có thể mời bạn bè vào web 1 cách nhanh chóng

11. Quản lý ảnh: Bạn có thể up ảnh dễ dàng và quản lý ảnh của mình theo từng album 1 cách thuận tiện. Mỗi bức ảnh của bạn sẽ là 1 chủ đề để thảo luận

12. Tin nhắn: Hệ thống tin nhắn được cải tiến sẽ giúp bạn dễ quản lý.

Kỳ thi VMEO lần thứ ba đã chính thức kết thúc. Sau nhiều ngày cân nhắc dựa trên kết quả chấm thi (các bạn có thể tham khảo kết quả đó tại đây :

ban tổ chức kỳ thi VMEO đã đưa ra được danh sách các bạn đạt giải cho kỳ thi . Tuy không được như dự định ban đầu về số lượng bạn tham gia dự thi nhưng kết quả này cũng phần nào khích lệ ban tổ chức tiếp tục cố gắng trong các cuộc thi về sau của diễn đàn .
Về cách thức,cuộc thi chia làm hai cuộc thi nhỏ dành cho 2 khối THCSvà THPT diễn ra song song trong 3 tháng 10,11 và 12 của năm 2006. Đề thi của từng khối mỗi tháng gồm 4 bài do các thành viên trong nhóm chọn đề gồm các bạn: lehoan,nthd,anhminh,chuyentoan,neverstop,emvaanh,MrMath,.... Tuy đã hết sức cố gắng trong quá trình lựa chọn đề bài từ nhiều nguồn,song một số sai sót nhỏ cũng là điều không tránh khỏi, mong các bạn hết sức thông cảm.
Về giải thưởng, dựa trên kết quả sắp công bố tới đây, ban tổ chức đã đưa ra cơ cấu giải thưởng như sau:

Kỳ thi VMEO (viết tắt của Vietnamese Mathematical E-Olympiad) là kỳ thi giải toán o­nline thường niên của http://www.diendantoanhoc.net. Kỳ thi này đã được tổ chức hai lần, lần đầu tiên tổ chức vào cuối năm 2004, và lần thứ hai vào tháng 10,11,12 2005. Đối tượng chính của cuộc thi là các bạn học sinh phổ thông (bao gồm THCS vả THPT). Hình thức của cuộc thi là giải các đề toán định kỳ. Cụ thể, vào đầu mỗi tháng 10,11,12

Kỳ thi VMEO I được tổ chức cho cả hai khối dự thi THCS và THPT. Đối với kỳ thi dành cho THPT chỉ có hai giải được trao, đó là một giải nhì dành cho bạn K09 [Trần Quốc Hoàn] và một giải khuyến khích của bạn chuyentoan [Lê Nam Trường]. Đối với khối THCS cũng chỉ có một giải nhì của bạn 1001001 [Nguyễn Bùi Hữu Nghĩa] cùng với ba giải khuyến khích của các bạn thanhangle [Hồ Nguyễn Thanh Thanh], thanglongban [Nguyễn Thanh Long] và toanvatoi [Nguyễn Thanh Duyên]

Kỳ thi VMEO II chỉ được tổ chức cho khối THPT, tuy nhiên số giải thưởng được trao là khá nhiều (7 giải so với chưa đầy 20 bài dự thi ). Có 2 giải nhất của các bạn clmt [Nguyễn Duy Mạnh] và nthd [Nguyễn Anh Tuấn] (đều là các học sinh của trường chuyên Nguyễn Trãi Hải Dương), bên cạnh đó còn có 2 giải nhì và 3 giải ba dành cho các bạn pet1, maple_ht, anhminh, tienvinh và DungCT. Tất cả các bạn đoạt giải đều là học sinh lớp 11,12 năm ngoái

Các đề thi của kỳ thi VMEO được các thành viên của nhóm quản lý và nhóm Cộng Tác Viên thiết kế. Đa phần trong số đó là các bài toán tự sáng tác. Kỳ thi VMEO II vừa qua có 12 bài toán thì tới 9 bài là các bài toán mới. Điểm đặc biệt là tác giả của các bài toán "mới" trong VMEO II đều là các học sinh hoặc sinh viên những năm đầu đại học. Như vậy đề thi vừa rất gần gũi với các bạn học sinh, vừa tạo nhiều điều kiện để các bạn trẻ có thể trao đổi nhiều hơn với nhau về các bài toán sơ cấp đẹp, khó và thú vị. Đây chính là điểm đặc biệt của kỳ thi VMEO mà chúng tôi (nhóm điều hành) sẽ cố gắng gìn giữ và phát huy hơn nữa

The Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) is a standardized test for measuring aptitude to succeed academically in graduate business studies. Business schools commonly use the test as one of many selection criteria for admission into an MBA program. It is given at various locations in the United States, Canada and around the world. Throughout North America and in many international locations, the GMAT is administered only via computer. In those international locations where an extensive network of computers has not yet been established, the GMAT is offered either at temporary computer-based testing centers on a limited schedule or as a paper-based test (given once or twice a year) at local testing centers. As of 2007, the fee to take the test is U.S. $250 worldwide

GMAT là viết tắt của Graduate Management Admission Test, là kỳ thi bắt buộc đối với các thí sinh dự định học các ngành quản trị kinh doanh. GMAT là bài thi để đánh giá kỹ năng tự nhiên tổng quát (aptitude test) của mỗi thí sinh. Lệ phí dự thi hiện nay là 250 USD, áp dụng cho tất cả các nước và khu vực.

The exam measures basic verbal, mathematical and analytical writing skills that the examinee has developed over a long period of time in his/her education and work. It does not measure specific knowledge of business, job skills, or subjective qualities such as motivation, creativity, and interpersonal skills. If a test taker's first language is not English, he or she may still perform well on the exam; however, the GMAT exam may not accurately reflect the abilities of someone whose first language is not English. Business Schools with a high proportion of non-native English speaking students tend to have a lower average GMAT score.


Bài thi GMAT bao gồm 3 phần: phần viết bài luận (AWA - Analytical Writing Assessment, bao gồm 2 bài luận, mỗi bài 30 phút) và hai phần chọn phương án đúng (bao gồm một bài quantitative test và một bài verbal test). Cấu trúc và thời lượng của mỗi phần như sau:
