Ta có:
$(x+\dfrac{1}{x})^2=x^2+\dfrac{1}{x^2}+2=7+2=9$
Do $x+\dfrac{1}{x} > 0$
Vậy $x+\dfrac{1}{x}=3$
Đặt $t=3=x+\dfrac{1}{x}$,ta có:
$x^3+\dfrac{1}{x^3}=t^3-3$
$x^4+\dfrac{1}{x^4}=(t-2)^2-2$
Ta lại có $x^5+\dfrac{1}{x^5}=(x^4+\dfrac{1}{x^4})(x+\dfrac{1}{x})-(x^3+\dfrac{1}{x^3})$
$=[(t-2)^3-2]t-(t^3-3)$
$=123$

Có $(x+\frac{1}{x})^2=x^2+\frac{1}{x^2}+2=9\Rightarrow x+\frac{1}{x}=3$( vì x>0)cho số $x> 0$ thỏa mãn điều kiện $x^2+\frac{1}{x^2}=7$
Tính giá trị của biểu thức $x^5+\frac{1}{x^5}$
$(x^2+\frac{1}{x^2})(x+\frac{1}{x})=7.3=21$
Rút gọn ta được: $x^3+\frac{1}{x^3}=18$
$(x^2+\frac{1}{x^2})(x^3+\frac{1}{x^3})=7.18=126$
Rút gọn ta được: $x^5+\frac{1}{x^5}=123$
